Bunmabunmarra Service was established in 2024 when our Directors identified gaps in the support available to Aboriginal people and the wider community in Dubbo and the Central West of New South Wales. We wanted to do more, to empower individuals and families to break cycles of disadvantage and create lasting, positive change.

We support people experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence, and mental health challenges, and our work extends into mediation, family group conferencing, and behaviour change programs. Every service we deliver is built around culture, care, and community, ensuring people have the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

Our dedicated team specialises in designing and delivering holistic programs that are:

• Culturally safe, grounded in Aboriginal knowledge and kinship systems.
• Centred on lived experience, recognising the strength in sharing stories.
• Focused on reconnection to community, family, and Country.

We walk alongside people at every step of their healing journey, prioritising accessibility, dignity, and cultural integrity. As a result, we are already seeing stronger, faster, and more sustainable outcomes for Aboriginal peoples across our region.

While we are an Aboriginal business, owned and managed by Aboriginal people with deep roots in culture and strong connections to Country, we are inclusive in our approach. We respect and support all individuals experiencing disadvantage, regardless of cultural background.

Our history is shaped by resilience and continues to grow in diversity.
