Behaviour Change Program

Warrior Way Programs

Warrior Way is open to self-referrals and agency referrals, including Community Corrections, Juvenile Justice, schools, legal services, child and family services, and other local support organisations across Central and Far West NSW.

We provide a safe and respectful space for men, women, and young people to come together and have real, meaningful conversations about life, choices, behaviour, and relationships.

Based at our Winhangarra office, and when needed at other services and correctional centres. Warrior Way supports people through early intervention, behaviour change, recovery, and healing. Programs are delivered both individually and in group settings, grounded in lived experience and culturally informed practice.

Our work centres on accountability, personal growth, and healing through reconnection to self, culture, community, and Country — supporting participants to build stronger relationships, make safer choices, and create lasting change.

Our program is delivered through a structured model that supports participants to build and maintain non-violent, respectful relationships. Participants learn how to:

  • Strengthen relationships
  • Communicate respectfully
  • Connect with Culture
  • Build resilience

We help them rebuild a foundation of self‑belief and dignity that supports healthier ways of relating to others.

  • Group workshops
  • Emotional regulation classes
  • Individual personal development plans
  • Cultural programs
  • (and we also provide free feed!)

Sessions run for 90 minutes, four times a week. Attendance is flexible.

Topics are nominated by participants to ensure that the program responds to the needs and priorities of those attending.
