Acknowledgement of Country
Bunmabunmarra Service acknowledges the Wiradjuri people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work in Dubbo. We honour their unbroken connection to land, water, culture, family, and community, and we pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present.
We recognise that healing is carried in the strength of Country, and that our work is guided by the stories, wisdom, and resilience of Aboriginal people who have walked these lands for thousands of generations.
We honour the countries our Directors and staff are from, including Noongar Country in Western Australia and Wiradjuri Country in Western NSW, and we stand with all Aboriginal nations across this land in respecting the histories, kinship systems, and cultural practices that continue to sustain communities today.
While Bunmabunmarra is grounded in Aboriginal knowledge and ways of caring, we also extend respect to all people who walk with us. We support both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities in the spirit of healing, inclusion, and shared responsibility for one another and for Country.
