Gibir House is a culturally safe, short-term accommodation service for men experiencing homelessness. While it has a strong cultural focus on Aboriginal traditions and community, Gibir House is inclusive of all men in need of support and are eligible for Temporary Accommodation through Homes NSW.
Located in Dubbo, a central hub for the region, Gibir House provides secure and supported housing for men experiencing homelessness, housing instability, exiting custody, or on bail. The property includes 10 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a communal kitchen and lounge, disability access, and 24/7 security.
Guests can enter through Homes NSW, Link2Home or Set2Go and are required to follow the processes of Homes NSW, including all Temporary Accommodation requirements set out by the funding body.
