Case Coordinator of Gibir House
Early in his career, Michael worked as a Youth Worker in the NSW Southern Highlands. He later pursued studies at the NSW Police College while continuing his work with young people.
Later, Michael shifted his career focus to management roles within the hire industry working for some of Australia’s largest hire branches, ultimately leading to the ownership of his own hire company in Western Australia.
Upon relocating to Dubbo, Michael continued his management career within the hire industry. After 20 years in the sector, he decided to make a change and founded a handyman business. Drawing on his early career in youth work, his vision for the business was to mentor and teach young men valuable trade and life skills, while offering local services. This sparked Michael’s passion for making a meaningful impact in the community, which led him to seize the opportunity to join the team at Gibir House.
Michael's knowledge of business, hire and trade industries, combined with his previous social and community roles and passion to help people, makes him a great asset to Gibir House and Bunmabunmarra Service.
